Paul Beraun was born in Lima, Peru, in 1969, where he studied fine arts at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes.

Paul has worked as a professional very successfully in his country for many years, and now is starting to be recognized in North America and Europe.

Ranging from many different subject matters, his style of deconstructed and raw colors, and absence of perspective gives his paintings the look of freedom that Paul always intents. Paul works are colorful, orderly disorganized, natural and with an immediacy and naivety that the public can catch at the first glance.

His big and thick brushstrokes make his images come to us with a natural spontaneity and freshness that makes an elaborate and studied work easy and flowing.

Paul has won many distinguished prices in his country and showed in solo and collective exhibitions.
